Southside Regional Destination Imagination CompetitionSouthside Region 5
Southside Region 5 includes the counties of Amelia, Brunswick, Caroline, Charles City, Charlotte, Chesterfield, Dinwiddie, Emporia, Essex, Goochland, Greensville, Hanover, Henrico, King George, King William, Lunenburg, Mecklenburg, New Kent, Nottoway, Powhatan, Prince Edward, Prince George, Richmond County, Surry, Sussex, West Point, and Westmoreland. Region 5 also includes the cities of Colonial Heights, Hopewell, Petersburg, and Richmond.
I want to thank everyone at Henrico High School for a wonderful job. This is my 3rd year as team manager for OM and now DI. I was so impressed at the smooth operation of all the competitions during the day. The judges wer great. It was the first time that the kids had the expreience of being broght into a room after the judging to have a someone explain in detail with the team the scores were and how what they did well on. It was a well run tournament. Thank you all, Southside DI!
